What material is good for angle valve?

Angle valves are usually made of brass, stainless steel, cast iron and other materials. Among them, brass angle valve is the most common one, because brass has the advantages of corrosion resistance, high strength, and good processing performance, and is widely used in plumbing pipes. Stainless steel angle valves are also a good choice because stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, rust-proof, and easy to clean. It is also more environmentally friendly and durable than brass. Although cast iron angle valves have strong corrosion resistance, their use range is relatively narrow due to factors such as their heavy weight and difficulty in processing. Generally speaking, brass angle valves and stainless steel angle valves are the more common choices. However, the specific choice of material needs to take into account the actual use environment and pipeline characteristics.

Stainless steel: Stainless steel angle valve is strong and durable, has strong corrosion resistance, and will not rust easily after long-term use. It is suitable for long-term use and high-frequency use occasions.

Brass: Brass angle valve has high strength, good durability, strong corrosion resistance, and good thermal conductivity, so it performs well in winter insulation.

Cast iron: The price of cast iron angle valve is relatively low, but it is heavy, not easy to be damaged, has strong pressure resistance, and is suitable for high-pressure water flow situations.

Plastic: Plastic angle valves are lightweight, durable, easy to install, and relatively cheap. However, their corrosion resistance is not as good as other materials, so they are suitable for use in some low-pressure water flow situations.
